Will Paul Czajka, District Attorney prosecute or pay Nussinow ?

Stop the Animal Neglect Columbia County, N.Y.
Nov 18, 2020

The District Attorney Paul Czajka claims to have a conviction rate of over 90%, but for some reason, Paul Czajka and his staff seem reluctant to prosecute" Nussinow, a New York Thoroughbred Breeder for multiple and repetitive Animal Cruelty violations since 2014, or maybe the District Attorney's Office, and Columbia Greene Humane Society, the lead Animal Cruelty Investigative Agency designated by the County would prefer to "protect" a disgraceful Thoroughbred Breeder to endear the multi-billion dollar horseracing industry in New York State, instead of protecting the community, and all the animals as required by law, and prosecuting the criminals.

It is our understanding the National Thoroughbred Association, the New York Racing Association, and the New York Gaming Commission made it very clear after Ernie Paragallo, a prominent Thoroughbred Breeder was convicted in 2010 for starving over 177 Thoroughbred horses at his Greene County Breeding Farm, that animal cruelty will not be tolerated in the racing industry. The FBI has just indicted 27 trainers, Veterinarians, and others for abusing the racehorses in the " Racehorse Doping Scheme" with more indictments to be announced.

Does the District Attorney's Office in Columbia County, and the N.Y. Thoroughbred Association really think Nussinow, a N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder's second arrest for Animal Cruelty is not on the radar for "injuring, torturing, and starving " 38 animals, including several Thoroughbred mares and foals, and causing the deaths of 12 animals, including a Thoroughbred mare ? This serious Animal Cruelty crimes can no longer be covered up, watered down, or disposed of like in the "old days". If some associates are trying to contain any bad press by protecting Nussinow, or are aiding and abetting, hindering investigations, obstructing justice, with the intent to commit insurance fraud it appears they picked the wrong time, and the wrong industry. Either prosecute Nussinow this time, or maybe some will get rolled up in the Federal Investigation involving the systematic abuse of the racehorses both ON and OFF the track, and other illegal activity which is ruining the multi-billion dollar intrastate racing industry.

The FBI reclassified Animal Cruelty as a serious crime strongly linked to other violent crimes against humans. Animal Cruelty is considered a crime against society.

Mr. Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County, New York, please be advised the People do not want these Animal Cruelty crimes to continue in our communities, and we doubt you would appreciate these heinous crimes taking place in your backyard either.

All 45,105 Supporters of " STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." would like to know when Paul Czajka, District Attorney of the County of Columbia, and James Carlucci, ADA are going to file criminal charges against Nussinow for intentionally and maliciously "causing injury, torturing, and starving" dozens of horses and other animals, which is a serious crime, and a precursor to other violent crimes against humans.

If Paul Czajka, DA and James Carlucci, ADA agree that the heinous crimes committed against these defenseless animals are serious crimes, linked to other criminal activity, when do they plan on enforcing the Federal and State laws and "finally" prosecute this Animal Cruelty case?
