Stop the aerial killing of bears in Alaska

Stop the aerial killing of bears in Alaska
The Issue
Alaska’s majestic black and brown bears are once again under fire—literally. Despite overwhelming public opposition, the state has reinstated aerial gunning: a cruel and unsporting practice where bears are chased down and shot from aircraft.
This isn’t hunting. It’s slaughter from the sky.
Aerial killing is not only inhumane, it also disrupts the natural balance of Alaska’s ecosystems. Many of these bears are mothers, and orphaned cubs are left to suffer and die. Wildlife experts, Indigenous leaders, conservationists, and ordinary citizens have all raised their voices against this decision—and they’ve been ignored.
Governor Mike Dunleavy’s administration has chosen to side with a narrow political agenda over science, ethics, and the will of the people.
We can’t let this stand.
Alaska’s wildlife belongs to all of us—not just those in power. We’re calling on state leaders to immediately reverse this policy and permanently ban aerial gunning of bears. Let’s protect Alaska’s bears before it’s too late.
Add your name to stand up for wild bears, ethical wildlife management, and humane policy.
