This petition has been set up to highlight the poor business practices carried out by iPark Services Limited at the Jubilee Road Car Park in Wadebridge, Cornwall and to ask for the site to revert back to Wadebridge Town Council management, as was originally the case. Alternatively, we request that a barrier is installed at the entrance, so that iPark Services can no longer profit from their breach of the terms of the BPA Code of Practice, by charging cars that enter the site but decide to leave immediately after viewing the parking charges.  

The present use of the facility for pay and display has created a series of problems for residents, business owners and holiday makers. This has been highlighted in the hundreds of negative reports online on sites such as Trustpilot.com, Love Wadebridge Facebook Group, The Money Saving Expert website and many more. There have been numerous cases of poor business practices carried out by iPark Services Limited, due to the misapplication of their own policy and breach of the numerous clauses of the British Parking Association Code of Practice. These include issuing invalid charges to motorists who are within their right for a "Consideration and Grace Period" as stated in The BPA's Code of Practice - Clause 13.1. As a result,  iPark Services Limited have often been forced to withdraw many of the court summons at the last minute. This however, does not help those who have been frightened into paying the incorrectly issued fine early. I would therefore be grateful if you could sign this petition so no more law abiding motorist are targeted by this ruthless company.
