This is it. No more comments from the applicant or our opposition team. It all comes down to deliberations between our County Commissioners leading to a final vote Monday night (June 12th) at 7PM.

Location: 300 West Tryon St, Hillsborough (Whitted Building) **Rumor has it that red shirts are really in fashion among this opposition team. Feel free to wear your best tomorrow night.

A couple of concluding thoughts regarding this latest update: (i) I know that the duration of these meetings really asks a lot of people sacrifice-wise but I fully expect that Monday night's meeting will end no later than 8:30PM. (ii) There are a great many people who have been a part of this opposition effort with far less to lose than those of us in the immediate neighborhood and they have repeatedly sacrificed their precious time to step-up and lend us a hand in this effort. I ask you to please understand this as you consider if attending tomorrow night's meeting...as the saying goes... "works for you"? Because I will assure you that they have worked for you and all of us in this neighborhood. Here's another saying... "it's never too late to say thank you" to someone who unselfishly went out of their way for your benefit. What better way to do just that then by showing up tomorrow night to, not only to show our opposition solidarity, but also to say thank you to your immediate and extended neighbors?

I hope to see as many of you as possible tomorrow night. Let's show up, be respectful and act with class regardless of how the final vote turns out.
