Hi Neighbors / Fellow Supporters.

I just wanted to reach out to all of you who plan on attending and, in some cases, are signed up to speak as a part of public comment carryover from the previously held 4/5 public meeting with the Planning Board of Commissioners. Clearly there is a lot of interest and passion on both the pro rezoning approval side as well as on our opposition side. Please note that what I am about to request of you is more so a self serving reminder to myself. Request: If you do plan on attending Wednesday's (4/19) meeting, let's collectively commit to being respectful of the process and conduct ourselves with dignity. Lord knows we can get more than our fill of public meeting chaos simply by just turning on the news. SO - by the end of the meeting there will likely be a decision made by the Planning Board. If it is in our favor(?), great. Let's accept the opinion and conduct ourselves graciously both during and following the meeting. If per chance the decision is not in our favor(?), let's accept the opinion and act with class. Again, during and following the meeting and with the comfort of knowing that there will be another opportunity for us to convince the Board of County Commissioners on 5/16 (as is currently scheduled).

I look forward to seeing and perhaps saying HEY in person those of you all who can find a way to attend Wednesday night's meeting.
