Hi fellow supporters.
As most if not all of you know, this past Wednesday (4/5) there was a public meeting which was very well attended by both sides of the spectrum regarding this matter. Those in favor of the proposed rezoning change and those, like us, in opposition to the current rezoning application and corresponding development plan. During the meeting the applicant was afforded a fairly substantial amount of time to present its development plan. Given the amount of time consumed by that presentation the meeting ended prior to any public comment being made. As a result, a follow-on meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday (4/19) to allow for public comment which will be limited only to those who signed the request to speak at the 4/5 meeting. If you were unable to attend the 4/5 meeting, you are welcome to attend the 4/19 meeting (which I strongly encourage), you just will not be allowed to speak to the Planning Board. Accordingly, another way we can all voice our opinion, again which I encourage, is to voice your concerns directly to the Planning Board Commissioners via the following link (which you will also find at the bottom of the petition itself). My neighbor (Ross) suggested that we all consider doing this and I believe it is a very good idea.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and I hope to see as many of you as possible at the upcoming 4/19 meeting!
