The 81 and 81A bus service's that run from town yelthom to kelso are getting taken away in the next 3 months which means elderly people who are unable to drive, family’s who don’t have enough money for a car or are unable to drive, teenagers who’s parents can’t drive them about all the time are going to loose there only source of transportation from Yelthom to Kelso and with Yelthom being such a small town older people and families need to be able to get from town to town to get shopping and sometimes just want to get out of the town and go somewhere diffrent for a change, The bus service going will have a big impact on the elderly community in our town and a lot of other people but the council will not give the bus company the money they were meant to for the grant meaning our bus service is getting taken away which as i say will effect the whole town and people of morbattle, kirk yelthom, kelso and other places that the bus runs to so please help!!!
