We, the residents and community members of Williamstown, strongly object to Draft Planning Scheme Amendment C147hbay, which proposes a five-storey apartment building with 65 dwellings at 5 Power Street, Williamstown.

This development would:

• Increase traffic and congestion at the busy corner of Power Street and Station Road.
• Create safety risks for children and pedestrians near the railway station, childcare centre, and local schools.
• Be out of scale with the low-rise, residential character of our neighbourhood.
• Place additional strain on parking and local infrastructure.

We respectfully request that the Minister for Planning refuse this amendment and preserve the safety, character, and liveability of our community.
