Dandenong Council Will Now Formally Back Us🎉

Last night, Greater Dandenong Council voted to formally back us against Knox Council on the proposed tower at Tirhatuan Lakes. The motion passed! This is a big win. 

Thank you to everyone who came out on the night. About 25 of us stood in that room, and it made a real difference. Councillors could see exactly how many people this affects and how much this park means to us.

A huge thank you to Cr Rhonda Garad, who put this motion together and got it across the line, backed by Cr Bob Milkovic and Cr Isabella Do. Cr Lana Formoso was also vocal in support on the night, and the rest of Council passed it through unopposed. And thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to get us here.

This is the first hurdle, not the finish line. We still have Knox to deal with, but we now go into that fight with our own council standing behind us. That is huge.
