We must urgently petition the Sarasota City Commission and Development Review Committee. Action is needed before developers seek final approvals! The demolition affects local favorites and leads to the loss of our "historic charm" and increased traffic density here in Sarasota. A 4 to 5-story building and a 6-level parking garage will overburden the Fruitville/Gillespie area with 22 parcels between 4th Street, Gillespie Avenue, Fruitville Road, and Osprey Avenue. Help prevent this from happening!
