Stop the $11.3mm Stonebridge Ranch HOA's Pool Renovation

Stop the $11.3mm Stonebridge Ranch HOA's Pool Renovation
The Issue
Hi,
The homeowners of the Stonebridge Ranch Community Association are formally petitioning the Board of Directors to immediately stop all actions on the proposed $11.3 million Beach Club renovation project.
That is an estimated 9400 homeowner members at $1204 each for at total of $11,317,600 for a pool renovation.
This project, which involves the renovation and replacement of the Beach Club HOA community pool, represents an excessive and unnecessary discretionary expenditure that will place an unnecessary financial obligation on every homeowner.
This is not a renovation; it is a massive capital expense with ongoing maintenance costs that will negatively impact our community's finances, fees, and budget allocations for years to come.
This project is fiscally irresponsible and does not align with the best interests of the homeowners for the following reasons: Excessive Cost and Financial Risk.
Questionable Necessity and
Scope beyond what should be considered reasonable
The Board of Directors must serve their duty to our members and re-evaluate their priorities to genuinely serve the homeowners.
Our collective voices reflect that this project does not align with the rational needs and priorities for all our community members.
The Mandate of this Petition is as follows: The Board of Directors for Stonebridge Ranch Community Association are to :
1) Immediately suspend all actions and spending on the proposed $11.3 million Beach Club pool renovation project.
2) Cancel all collections and assessments related to the proposed Beach Club renovation project.
As elected representatives, the Board of Directors have a duty to uphold their obligations in service to the member owners.
Homeowners expect board of directors members to respect these duties for the community.
In the end, we seek to ensure and restore fiscal responsibility, proper representation, and that the best interests of the Stonebridge Ranch Homeowners Association members are upheld.
