There have been thousands of accidents each year that occur because people choose to text while driving. As of August 2009, only 17 states and the District of Columbia now ban text messaging for all drivers. This need to be a law in all states. It's becoming a problem and people are losing their lives because careless drivers choose to text while they're driving instead of waiting to text or pulling his or her car over to the side of the road. (If it's that important). I'm not trying to die or bury a loved one because of someone else's irresponsibility. Let's get this signed so it shows that it's becoming a huge problem in the world and we want it to stop. There should be a fine in all states and after too many warnings, the violator should be forced to surrender his or her license. Please don't wait until it happens to a loved for you to stand up.
