Stirling council are suspending the 0-2 service at Killin nursery. Killin nursery is a fantastic nursery with fantastic staff. It is the only nursery in the area with children aged 0-5 attending from Killin, Lochearnhead, Balquidder, Strathyre, Crianlarich, tyndrum and down loch Tay side. There is no alternative childcare. The nearest privat nursery in Stirlingshire is over 30 miles away. There are no childminders either

This service is essential to allow parents to return to work., Without it they face having to give up their career. If this service is suspended it will mean families will face financial strain and even causing some to have to move away from the village.

Stirling council are suspending the service due to budget cuts. However other nurseries in and around Stirling city are only having their provision reduced. Only Killin Nursery is being completely cut. Stop Stirling council from targeting and damaging rural communities!
