D1 Needs To Be A No Tolerance Area for Speeding, Street Racing and Texting While Driving

District 1 could be a “No Tolerance Zone” for speeding, texting while driving and street racing. Imagine.. residents speaking up, taking a stand against all three because we’re tired of living in a community where lives are being lost and destroyed because all three are tolerated. Enough is enough..  If you feel strongly about the speeding and street racing in your neighborhoods, and the lack of enforcement of Florida’s No Texting while driving law, consider signing this petition and attending the BCC meeting at 9:00 am next Tuesday. Let the Commissioners, Mayor Demmings, OCSO and OC staff know that aggressive actions need o be taken immediately to make our roadways safer for everyone; drivers, cyclists and LSV drivers. Now is the time to speak up people! Complaining on social media has its place, but taking action and getting involved to make our communities safer makes you part of the solution.. that’s exactly what D1 needs.. the community coming together to make a difference!
