BOCC Meeting - Tuesday, March 7th - 9:00 am

If your neighborhood is experiencing out-of-control unenforced speeding, late night/early morning street racing and texting while driving, please consider speaking at the next Board of County Commissioners meeting on 3/7 at 9:00 am.
Numerous neighborhoods have attempted to deal with these issues individually, but if we all come together as District 1 residents and address the BCC regarding our experiences, fears and concerns regarding each of these issues and request stronger enforcement by having more Orange County officers aggressively enforce the existing laws for all three.
We also request Orange County staff seriously consider installing speed reduction pads in neighborhoods and roundabouts on streets, such as Hamlin Groves Trail, to not only significantly reduce speeds, but eradicate street racing, and provide safe crosswalks for pedestrians and cyclists who are simply trying to cross the street.
