We urgently need your support to address proposed works that threaten the integrity of our cherished heritage conservation area of Auburn Street; with a pedestrian crossing and addition cycle track along our grassed verge. It will be 3 metres wide and we loose all our soft landscape, impact the trees and directly impact residents and community members with the pedestrian crossing, lighting and traffic concerns. 

The following critical concerns must be raised with the council to ensure our community's voice is heard:

Lack of Consultation: No engagement or consultation with affected residents and community members regarding the proposed works.
Absence of Ratification: The proposed works have not been ratified or approved through appropriate channels, leaving our community’s concerns unaddressed.
Neglect of Key Considerations: The plans overlook vital aspects, including:

Heritage Impact: Disregard for the conservation values of our heritage area.
Environmental Impact: Potential harm to our streetscape and loss of trees.
Social Impact: Increased parking congestion affecting our daily lives.
Safety Concerns: Significant risks to the safety of students and children attending South Goulburn School, with no evident measures to protect them.
