The coalition was not created to work against you — it was created to work with everyone involved in fighting these developments and everything that comes with them.
I am reaching out to invite every one of your members — especially those who have spoken out — to join the Stop Sierra Reflections for Good Coalition (SSR4GC).
This federal lawsuit is designed to protect all of us.
A coalition, by definition, is a unification — a coming together of multiple organizations as one united front. That is exactly what we are building.
Members of the coalition are afforded protections under anti-SLAPP laws, helping shield against retaliatory legal action by developers.

This has never been about ego.
This has always been about doing what is necessary to protect our community — especially when it has become clear that we cannot rely on the government to fully protect our interests.
If you have not been following the updates, please understand this:
We have now successfully protected over 1,000 acres of Washoe Valley land.
The case is currently under review by a national law firm, led by a former federal prosecutor, and they are considering taking this on contingency.
Now is the time to join the coalition and be protected.
It is our combined efforts that will determine whether this land is preserved — or lost.
I ask you to reflect honestly:
Was the time, energy, and over 500 hours of pro bono work invested in building a legal safety net for all of us in vain?
To those who may have made assumptions about me or my intentions — I ask you to set those aside and come to the table.
This has never been about ego or recognition.
It has always been about doing the right thing and building something that protects us all.
But it only works if we stand together.
My roots here go back to 1980. That should stand for something.
The door is open. I am offering an olive branch.
What happens next is a choice.
We have until April 20th.
We either come together and unite — or we risk losing this fight.
I hope to stand alongside you as co-plaintiffs when the time comes.
