Happy weekend, everyone ❤️
I’m very proud to share that we had a major win in federal court.
Here’s what happened:
The case passed initial review and was not dismissed
The judge granted me the opportunity to file one amended complaint within 30 days
I was approved to proceed in forma pauperis
The Court allowed the addition of another defendant connected to the St. James parcels
These are all important procedural wins.
So what does this actually mean?
It means this case is alive and moving forward.
It means the Court has allowed me to continue and strengthen the case through one final amendment.
It means we are now just one step away from the next major phase—service.
Once the amended complaint is submitted and the judge gives the green light, there will be a 90-day window to serve all defendants under federal rules.
Because I was granted in forma pauperis status, the Court can authorize the U.S. Marshals to serve all defendants on our behalf—at no cost.
In simple terms:
We are now one signature away from the federal marshals serving the entire case.
That is a major shift forward.
At this stage, the case is also being reviewed by two major law firms in Las Vegas for potential contingency representation. The goal is to retain one lead firm to take on the case and work in coordination with all necessary parties, including broader community and tribal interests.
If you’ve been watching and waiting—now is the time to step forward. Joining the coalition matters. It strengthens our position and ensures we can seek legal counsel on behalf of the community as a whole.
Today was a big step forward. We now have real momentum—and we’re building on it.
Blessings to all!
