Whereas; Amidst complaints of Karta Singh sexually abusing his yoga students and Karta himself admitting he committed adultery with the wife of an ashram member, KRI Mentoring Lead Trainer, Karta Singh from the Amrit Nam Sarovar School in France has resigned his position as a Teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, as a KRI Aquarian Trainer Academy Mentoring Lead, as a member of Teacher Trainer Executive Council (TTEC) and as a member of the Aquarian Trainer Academy's Certification Committee, as a Sikh Dharma Minister and as a Khalsa Council Member....​

Whereas; There is also evidence that for over ten years, KRI, 3HO & Sikh Dharma leaders knew about Karta sexually abusing his yoga students but did nothing to stop him...​

3HO kundalini yoga instructor Sohan Anne Boeing of Berlin stated in her official complaint of March 2016 against Karta,  "Altogether I had spoken to at least ten teachers from KRI, IKITA and 3HO, they remained silent for more than ten years. In doing so they cooperated with Karta hence empowering him.
I could not complete the mentoring process in an association that, in full consciousness, protected a teacher who sexually abused women. Their reasons differed, speaking in whispers, they all seemed spurious to me. What was the reason for all of this? Power interests? Fear of crisis? Fear of change? A non-existent backbone?"​

Whereas: As Conscious & Spiritual human beings we need to stand for truth and speak out to stop sexual assault and abuse towards women otherwise our silence makes us complicit...

Whereas: If we remain silent and allow KRI, 3HO & SDI to be manipulated and used to cover-up sexual abuse, these crimes of abuse towards women will continue to happen again and again....

Whereas: If we are silent in the face of oppression, we will give the wrong message to our young sisters, mothers, and future generations of women...

Therefore: We sign this petition to make our opposition to sexual abuse and assault of yoga students by Yoga instructors noted to the world.​

Whereas; With Karta Singh’s resignation, KRI / SDI has stopped the official Complaint Process, as KRI / SDI say Karta no longer has standing with their organizations....

We the undersigned, request KRI, 3HO & Sikh Dharma International begin an investigation into how Karta's sexual abuse of yoga students became accepted behavior for more than ten years in KRI, 3HO & Sikh Dharma International.

And further we the undersigned request KRI, 3HO & Sikh Dharma International to investigate who in 3HO knew about Karta sexually abusing his yoga students and when these 3HO members learned about it.
