Once rich forests of Kuiu Island have been extensively logged, yet, the Forest Service proposed to sell its remaining trees.  This makes no ecological or economic sense, selling our forests should be stopped.  The remaining forests are the habitat for black bears, Sitka black tailed deer, marten, wolves, several species of salmon and the rare Queen Charlotte goshawk.  I urge the Forest Service to drop all timber sales and roadcutting plans for Kuiu Island, and all our national forests, and halt any further exploitation of this all those habitats.
