Stop ScotRail's cruel pigeon culls

Stop ScotRail's cruel pigeon culls
The Issue
We love pigeons, loads of people do. They are clever, gentle birds trying to get by in a human world that seems to have forgotten them.
We recently learned from our friends at Manchester Pigeon Rehab that ScotRail has set up a yearly schedule of 196 pigeon shooting visits as part of a misguided attempt to manage pigeon populations in its stations.
Yet ScotRail has an active partnership with the UKs leading bird protection charity the RSPB and claims their spaces are biodiversity friendly.
Shooting pigeons is barbaric and unreliable. Birds often suffer devastating injuries which lead to lifelong disabilities or slow painful deaths.
ScotRail have also ordered the removal of active nests and chicks. A cruel way to manage a human made problem and ineffective in the long-term control of pigeon populations.
Join us in calling for ScotRail to permanently end lethal control and switch to humane approaches.
Sign this petition to make a difference for these gentle, misunderstood birds.
Scotland's pigeons and the people who love them, thank you for it
