Im a student that goes to a highschool in NC. 

Recently ive gotten in trouble for trying to speak up about my assault and the school siding with him. below is the full thing that happened.

For anyone else who has also gotten attacked by your school admin or board for trying to speak up about what happened to you im so so sorry and you deserve better.

PETITION FOR SCHOOLS TO DO BETTER AND EXPEL SEXUAL HARRASSERS AND DO STUFF ABOUT ACTUAL BULLYING!!

Recently ive gotten the courage to speak up about my Sexual Assault. Ive posted proof and everything explaining what happened and how people at my school should try to avoid that one person. Were gonna call my Assaulter "Max" (not their actual name by the way.)

Someone who saw my posts about it shared the stuff i was sharing to Max. Max then reported me to the school and the school tried suspending me for "cyber bullying" Even though they knew what he did to me and didn't care.

I tried telling them i had proof and tried explaining my story but they kept talking over me telling me what i did was "cyberbullying" and not okay that i was spreading "Rumors" 

Its not rumors if it's FACTS about him Sexually harassing and assaulting me and that i have TONS of proof and just harassing me in general. 

He would always manipulate me too. He would always threaten to khs if i tried dropping him as a friend.

My mom talked to them resulting me only getting one day lunch detention but its still unfair how im getting that just for speaking up about my experience. I wasent the only one who he harassed. Multiple of my friends and classmates spoke up about how Max also harassed them in different ways. He's a repeat offender and theres a high chance he would do it again to someone so why cant i bring awareness to this so people can be cautious around him?

The school also lied to my mom when she talked to them telling her "they didn't know that he did this" even though they were aware and i tried explaining. 

The school told me they couldn't do anything because this happened "last school year/last year" Which is a lie it happened 2024-2025 which happened durning last school year and also before school started. It was only till a few months before school started is when i blocked him and got rid of him.

Plus he was put in my PE this year and kept staring me down making me very uncomfortable so this still happened this year.

Schools need to stop harassing the Victims and stop siding with the people who were in the wrong. Im not the only one who went through this as my friend also did too and MUTIPLE people have too before globally. My friend also tried speaking up about their SA and got in trouble instead too. 

Schools always fail to protect their students from bullying and harassment of any kind. Everytime they always dismiss my cases when i try to report them. 

THIS IS NOT OVER FUCK THE SCHOOL SYSTEM.

JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE WHO WERE FAILED AND NEVER GOT THE JUSTICE THEY NEEDED.

KIDS SHOULD NOT FEAR SCHOOL BECAUSE OF HARRASSMENT AND SHOULDN'T BE SILENCED FOR SPEAKING UP ABOUT WHAT WAS DONE TO THEM.

PLEASE EXPEL HIM.
