If you're registered in Snohomish County,  your primary ballot includes two property 
tax levy propositions:

1. Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue Prop No. 1 (EMS Levy Lid Lift)
2. Sno-Isle Library District Prop No. 1 (Levy Lid Lift)

Both would raise the tax rate on your property above the current cap.

I'm not telling you how to vote — that's your decision. I'm asking you to actually read what each measure does, consider the cumulative impact on your tax bill, and vote thoughtfully either way.

Also on your ballot: your District 44 State Senator and two Representative races.

Ballots must be returned by 8 PM on August 4th — drop boxes are open 24 hours, no stamp needed.
