Description
Roblox has become one of the largest online platforms in the world, especially for children and teenagers. While safety and moderation are important, an increasing number of users are experiencing permanent account terminations through “enforcement bans” that appear to be false, automated, or issued without clear justification.

Many players report being permanently banned immediately after serving a prior moderation sentence, without committing any new violations. Others believe enforcement bans are being triggered by false mass reports, shared IP addresses in households, schools, or apartments, or automated moderation systems with little or no human oversight. In these cases, appeals are frequently denied with generic responses, and users are not given meaningful explanations or evidence.

These terminations result in the loss of accounts that users have spent years of time, creativity, and real money building. For minors and families, this is especially troubling, as there is often no effective way to speak to a human reviewer or receive transparency about the decision.

We support safety on Roblox — but safety should not come at the cost of fairness, accuracy, and due process.

 
We Call on Roblox to:
Require verified human review before issuing permanent enforcement bans
Provide clear and specific explanations for account terminations
Improve the appeal process so users receive meaningful responses, not automated denials
Investigate false reports and abuse of the reporting system
Protect innocent users affected by shared IP addresses or automated linkages
Allow parents and guardians to participate in appeals involving minors
 
Why This Matters
False terminations damage trust between Roblox and its community. Players who follow the rules should not lose their accounts without transparency or accountability. Fair moderation protects both users and the platform.

Roblox has the resources to implement better systems. This petition asks the company to do so.
