Good Morning Fellow Residents, Shop Patrons and Petition Supporters

I just wanted to provide a quick update regarding a meeting that I had with Shadow Minister for Transport Chris Minns MP just prior to the Upper Hunter By election at NSW Parliament House.

Chris Minns MP is the member for Kogarah and was the Shadow Minister for Transport when we met, he could be the next NSW Opposition Leader.

I was fortunate enough to secure a meeting with Mr Minns in order to discuss a number of transport related issues affecting the Liverpool area which included the widening of Hoxton Park Road (and Fifteenth Ave Extension to the new Western Sydney Airport).

Other Topics included the extension of the South West rail link from Leppington Station to Western Sydney Airport

This was a preliminary meeting prior to a residents rally to be organised and held in the future.

It's important that Chris Minns visit our area as it looks like he may well be the next opposition leader based on recent media reports.

Unfortunately I have not received any replies to my emails sent to various Local MP's to this issue other than we have to wait for investigations to be completed.

I will keep you informed of any further developments or Progress regarding this campaign.
