Stop rezoning of LifeSouth property to multi-family
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents of Dunwoody, request our city council deny Dominium's application for rezoning and make two edits to the Draft 2045 Comprehensive Plan (dated June 2, 2025)
EDIT ONE: Ensure that the community priorities on Page 48 (Section 3.2 Community Agenda) state MAINTAIN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS as the top priority. The draft dated June 2, 2025 relegates
MAINTAIN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS to priority #3.
EDIT TWO: On page 103 (Section 4.0 Character Areas) relating to the Ashford area where LifeSouth is situated, edit the land use for multi-unit and mixed use from “Appropriate with Considerations” (yellow status) to “Inappropriate” (red status). As you can see in the plan excerpt multi -unit and mixed use are “Appropriate with Considerations” in the draft.
These revisions reflect a community-supported vision for growth and equip council and staff to engage with developers who will bring desired town homes and cottages to this area.
