The Coach USA bus driver was identified by sources as Dave Lewis, 52, of Poughkeepsie. He could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
Banker Dan Hanegby, 36, of Brooklyn Heights, was struck by the bus about 8:15 a.m. Monday on W. 26th St. between 7th Ave. and 8th Ave. while headed to his job at Credit Suisse.
Police said the married father of two swerved left to go around a parked unoccupied van — but he was looking to his right as the bus was passing him on his left.

A London native living in the city for 17 years said, “I have a near death experience every day. The death is a tragedy, but plenty of pedestrians and drivers die every year. Citi Bikes are not as dangerous as normal bikes.”
