NJ Transit driver charged with DWI A New Jersey Transit bus driver has been arrested and charged with drunken driving and reckless driving while operating a NJ Transit bus. Tracey Lloyd, 45, was arrested in Pompton Lakes after witnesses called police saying the bus had crashed into a guardrail. Lloyd was charged with driving while intoxicated. The police report states Lloyd admitted she was sipping brandy on the job. Officials say the NJ Transit driver's blood alcohol level was found to be .28, seven times the legal limit for driving a commercial vehicle. A spokeswoman for NJ Transit says no passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash and that Lloyd was not injured. Lloyd is a six-year employee of the agency. She has been suspended without pay. News 12 New Jersey has obtained a document that shows customers have filed 43 complaints to NJ Transit about Lloyd since 2005.
