With the online SAVE the Queenstown Bendigo Bank petition and the paper copies I have counted 1107 signatures so far.
Well done and thank you for your support of our efforts to save the West Coast's last bank.
With Petitions still to be collected and counted over the next few days this total will increase. Support will increase.
Petitions will be available to sign at the Community Market this Sunday in the Queenstown Memorial Hall and prior to our Community Meeting at 3 pm. Please sign the petition if you are yet to have had a chance, no need to sign it again if you have already signed a paper copy or online.
The Community Meeting is the crucial next step in our campaign.
Banks do not have the right to force us to bank on line.
We do have the right as customers and consumers to a full range of banking services in a fully functional bank.
If you are yet to share the petition with your friends and family please do so. We need to make them listen for the future financial growth of the West Coast Community.
Next step attend the Community Meeting this Sunday August the 3rd at 3 pm, Queenstown Memorial Hall and encourage everyone to attend
