West Coaster's voted at Sunday's community meeting to

 1. Call on the Bendigo Bank to cease the closure of the Queenstown Bendigo Bank Branch.

2. Call on the Albanese government to respond urgently to the report of the Senate RRAT Committee's inquiry.

Something if they had of done 14 months ago, we and many other communities would not be facing bank closures. 

With now over 1400 signatures on both this change.org petition and paper copies, we also decided to keep the petition open another few weeks to increase the people power with your help, please sign this petition for free by choosing the option to share it.

You do not have to be a West Coast resident nor do you have to be a Bendigo Bank customer. This issue is about the future of the West Coast. Bendigo closing our last bank on the entire West Coast is a economic coffin nail that Bendigo Bank is trying to hammer in.

Bendigo Bank tell us we have banking options. Truth is they are taking our options away they are taking our rights away and forcing people to do what Bendigo Bank want, to close branches so they CEO can have a bigger pay rise which he already earns $3 million dollars. Bank closures are about greed and not the good of individuals and the community.
