Thank you to all 428 people who have signed the Save our bank petition so far. The upcoming planed closure of the Queenstown Bendigo Bank does not just effect West Coast residents it effects anyone who visits or is planning on visiting the West Coast in the future. It effects businesses who do business with West Coast businesses and residents. 

The Bendigo Bank by closing the West Coast's last existing bank is not living up to their social license by providing their services to their customers.

Having the ability to enter a bricks and mortar bank to be assisted by banking staff with all financial services including access cash is an essential service. A essential service that will be taken away from the West Coast on September 26th, with the first notices of the planed closure issued on the 1st of July some customers are yet to even be officially notified by Bendigo Bank only hearing about the closure through, friends, family, 7XS radio or social media.
