Have a look at this promotional video made by the museum about their plans for the redevelopment. 

at 1:48 you will see their intention for the Bird Gallery.

We have asked the Council about their plans for this space but as they haven’t addressed this question and only refer to the main Victorian Gallery in their correspondence - we presume this shocking plan still stands. They think no one cares about this incredible collection of birds, and that people only want to see the 1980’s Mammoth and the Giraffe. Let’s show them they are wrong!
