We can confirm that the Bird Gallery containing the Ogilvie Bird Collection of national significance is going to be removed from the Museum. (See floor plans attached below). It is also not under the remit of the Victorian Society. I urge you to write to the museum, if you share our opinion, that the loss of the display of this incredible collection of taxidermy would be profound and detract from what makes the museum unique, thought-provoking and worthy of repeat visits.
