I am 10 years old and I have a question… why do fruit and vegetables need plastic packaging wrapped around them? They don’t!!! 

Did you know that a fifth of single use plastic sold in the UK is to package fruit and vegetables and by simply stopping this 30,000 tons of plastic could be prevented just by selling fruit and vegetables loose!! 

Other European countries have managed this and made it illegal including France! So why can’t we??

Let’s help our oceans and animals. It’s an easy solution and helps give our planet a chance!
