Dear reader,

We, the undersigned, and residents of Skybrook, are writing to formally petition against the continued use of Northgreen Dr. for parking by visitors to the nearby driving range. We believe this situation poses significant issues for our community and request immediate action to address our concerns.

Over recent years, we have observed and experienced the following problems resulting from the use of Northgreen Dr. for driving range parking:

1)- Traffic Congestion: The influx of vehicles parking on Northgreen Dr. has significantly increased traffic congestion, making it difficult for residents to navigate the street safely.
2)- Safety Hazards: The increased traffic and parked vehicles create safety hazards for pedestrians, particularly children and elderly residents who use the sidewalks and cross the street. The visibility of oncoming traffic is often obstructed, raising the risk of accidents.
3)- Noise Pollution: The presence of additional vehicles and the associated noise from visitors have disrupted the peace and quiet of our neighborhood, affecting the quality of life for residents.
4)- Property Value Concerns: The negative impacts on traffic, safety, and noise are likely to affect property values in our community. Prospective buyers may be deterred by these issues, leading to a potential decline in property desirability.
 

Given these significant concerns, we propose the following actions to resolve the parking issue on Northgreen Dr.:

1)- Prohibit Non-Resident Parking: Implement and enforce a no-parking policy for non-residents on Northgreen Dr. during the hours of operation of the driving range.
2)- Designated Parking Areas: Collaborate with the management of the driving range to establish designated parking areas for their visitors that do not impact residential streets.
3)- Enhanced Enforcement: Increase monitoring and enforcement of parking regulations on Northgreen Dr. to ensure compliance and address any violations promptly.
4)- Community Input and Solutions: Organize a meeting with residents, the HOA board, and representatives from the driving range to discuss these issues and explore mutually agreeable solutions.
 

We believe these measures are necessary to restore the safety, tranquility, and overall quality of life in our community. We urge the HOA board to take immediate action to address our concerns and work towards a resolution that benefits all parties involved.
