Thanks to everyone who has signed and shared our petition demanding that town officials meet with community representatives to update our comprehensive plan so that growth happens in a planned and sustainable way.

We are up to 1400, and now we need to reach the next goal of 1500! our community’s future — including our water — is at stake!

Queens destroyed its aquifer through overdevelopment. In Nassau County, salt water incursion is tainting its water — because of over development. And the same thing is beginning to happen in Suffolk — but we can do our part to save our aquifer if we act now to stop developer-drive development. Let’s make sure our town’s growth is properly planned and sustainable!
