If you want to make even more of a difference, please speak at the Town Board Meeting Thursday, April 11, 7pm at Town Hall. Come early to sign up to speak during the public portion. Let the town board know about your concerns!

Let them know that we want the Board to adhere to the Comprehensive Plan, and that we want a citizens advisory board to review the plan BEFORE the board goes forward with any new development plans.

The Comprehensive Plan is the town’s contract with residents to protect and preserve quality of life for everyone. In the phot is an excerpt specifying that citizen input is needed to update the plan regularly. A major development such as the Melville proposal should not be put forward without a proper review and update — and the studies and inter-town coordination called for elsewhere in the plan.
