This week my mother was not allowed to leave her room as she had rhino virus - the common cold! No fresh air, no activities, no meals in the dining room. What is going on with aged care in this country? Even when I asked if I could take her for some fresh air onto the balcony with no other residents there, I was told she has to remain in her room! It’s criminal! Please share this petition as we need to stop locking up and isolating the elderly!
