Quality or Quantity?

Thank you to all those who have signed my petition! 

I realise that for me “quality of life” is more important than living longer. I doubt my mother would choose to live a longer life alone in a room for weeks on end … with no fresh air, no sunshine, no carpet bowls etc 
What are your thoughts? 

Also, please note: this petition is not aimed at aged care facilities who are simply following NSW regulations - I’m trying to appeal to the government who sets up these well-intentioned rules with little understanding of how they impact on the quality of people’s last remaining days
