On January 12, 2026, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 6719 and H.R. 6732 (the CSAFE Act) by a unanimous voice vote! This is a historic recognition that coercing a child into self-harm or suicide is a federal crime, not just a 'loophole.'

​Where we are now: These bills have officially arrived in the Senate and are currently with the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Direct Action: I have officially mailed my formal plea to Senators Deb Fischer and Pete Ricketts. I included my personal testimony and professional credentials to show them that this isn't just theory it is a reality for children. I asked them to co-sponsor and support these protections to ensure they reach the Senate floor for a final vote immediately.
