Stop Online Animal Torture Rings - Hold Social Media Platforms Accountable
The Issue
This is really happening.
Kittens are being tortured—electrocuted, mutilated, burned—for entertainment. These are not isolated acts of cruelty. This is an organized network of abuse, spreading across the internet and gaining traction through views, shares, and silence.
Footage has surfaced showing unbearable scenes of animal torture.
Paws cut off. Tiny bodies convulsing after being electrocuted. Helpless animals left to suffer while the camera rolls. These crimes are being committed and shared online—and the platforms hosting them aren’t acting fast enough.
CNN has now reported on this horrifying trend.

We are calling on social media platforms and law enforcement to take urgent action:
Shut down and investigate the accounts sharing these videos
Work with animal protection agencies to identify and prosecute abusers
Implement stronger detection tools to block torture content before it spreads
Animal cruelty is not content. It is a crime.
If we ignore this, we help normalize it. But if we speak up—now—we can shut it down before more animals are hurt. These kittens have no voice, no escape, and no defense. It’s up to us.

Even one click could help pressure platforms to act and prevent further abuse.
