Living in Murrow, has always been peaceful, but recently, the presence of HGV non-agricultural vehicles has severely disrupted this tranquility. My house has suffered damage due to the relentless passage of these heavy vehicles, but more importantly, I fear for the safety of my daughter every time I walk her to school.

The narrow roads of Murrow & Parson Drove are not equipped to handle the increasing volume of commercial and non-agricultural HGV traffic. The vibrations and constant wear and tear not only damage property, including historical structures that define the character of our village, but they also put pedestrians, especially our children, at significant risk. Accidents involving these vehicles are not unheard of and we should prevent these dangerous occurrences before it's too late. 

Statistics from local road safety reports indicate a sharp increase in vehicular traffic over the past five years, correlating directly with an increase in road incidents and property damage claims. It's crucial that we address this problem publicly and promptly. Solutions such as redirecting commercial routing outside residential areas or establishing clear vehicle restrictions can protect our streets and restore the community's peace.
