Stop Nintendo from being money Hungry on ZA

Stop Nintendo from being money Hungry on ZA
The Issue
I know what many of you are probably thinking: “Nintendo is always money-hungry” or “This isn't anything new.” But that shouldn’t make it acceptable. The real issue is that we, as fans and consumers, continue to support these practices — and that’s exactly why they persist. We’ve already seen questionable decisions from Nintendo, like the increasingly restrictive Terms of Service and rising prices. In the past, the saving grace was that at least the base games were polished and satisfying. But with ZA, it feels different. They're clearly trying to manufacture the game’s success — frequent reveals of new Megas, pre-announced DLC before the game even launches, and locking content like the Kalos Starter Megas behind Nintendo Online. Seriously? You’re expected to pay over $100 just to experience the full game — $80 for the base game, $30 for DLC, and an additional subscription just to access some of the most anticipated features.
And here's the frustrating part: I already know ZA is going to sell incredibly well. But what happens to players who want access to Mega Greninja or Delphox after the initial season ends? Why can’t we just have complete games from the start anymore?
My honest theory is that ZA isn’t fully developed at launch — that the DLC will effectively serve as the “missing half.” Nintendo has always positioned itself as the family-friendly, accessible console brand. But they seem to be forgetting that not everyone can afford this model of content delivery.
All I want is simple:
The Kalos Mega Starters should be available in the base game — no ranked play, no Nintendo Online requirement.
For Nintendo to try to do better in the future.
And the DLC should be part of the main game, not an expensive add-on.
please don’t turn the games in to the next TCG
