Havant Borough Council's recent parking review proposed new charging fees on Sundays  in up to 57 of Havant's 60 Car Parks, this parking review has now been deferred due to it's many failings, however it will be 'back on the table' and one thing I have learnt as a Cllr is to get ahead of the curve. 

To have impact, we need at least 1000 signatures from  residents of the Borough,  all corners of the Borough.  Over 124,000 people live here so please sign and share with family, neighbours, friends and local businesses as it will impact us all unless we can prevent it.

Introducing new parking charges on Sundays would create a barrier for those who wish to support their local economy and church goers alike.  According to studies, increased parking fees can result in reduced business turnover by up to 30%, a statistic that small businesses in Havant simply cannot afford.
