You are in charge of what breed you feel comfortable,placing in your vehicle. You are in charge of how many dogs you are willing to transport, in your vehicle. You are in control of where you are willing to transport a dog; FROM FCDS to a Rescue(Who is expecting you). Or, if you are willing to drive FROM the Rescue to the screened Foster Home. Maybe, you are comfortable picking up dogs we are "Rescuing" Where A drives to B, and B drives to C, and C delivers to a Rescue? Maybe, you want to do a practice run, and go along for the ride, with someone experienced in it? Like the Freedom Rides you see posted? Maybe, you are willing to have your name, and only, the contact information you choose to share, so we can reach you, toask you if you are available? Like This is my name. (Instant message me on Facebook) Or this is my cell phone number, you can call me after 10:00 am but no later than 9:00 p.m. Or, I can drive transport on Wednesday, my for sure one day off every week. Getting a Dog from Point A to Point B, with Google Maps, and GPS etc...isn't that difficult. If we know what city and zip code you are in, it helps us know WHO to ask, for specific transports. Life does happen, we understand if your child needs to go to the Physician, or your car has a flat tire. Just try very hard, to have a Plan B in place, otherwise our careful preparations, are all for nothing. The best idea is to have a BUDDY system, if you cannot make the transport on the date, day you committed to; have a BUDDY who will fill in, thus providing us that person to fill your shoes.
