Hospice is a word, to me it means, a person has a terminal diagnosis , young, old, male, female , either dying next week , next month or 2 years from now. Hospice is loving care for the dying person, and family support , and loving , caring professional people caring for the needs of the patient , while they are actively dying. Hospice for people. We also, encounter dogs with tumor, who require comfort care, dogs dying, not in severe uncontrolled pain, dogs who may need TLC , and special food, medication , or even pain control. Euthanize equal death. Death by killing . Death by needle. Hopefully , sedation , and time for its effects , prior to the kill injection , into the vein, or IV.
