13 Wind Turbines RES Developer Objection Stage now Active!
Hi Everyone,
We are now at the stage for objection for the RES wind farm Developer. ( The Largest part of the developments threatening our mountain ) The proposed wind farm comprises 13 horizontal axis wind turbines along with a site entrance, access tracks, crane hardstandings,Quarries for blasting stone, control building and substation compound, electricity transformers,underground cabling, and drainage works.
PEDW have been 'good sports' and only recently added loads of new backdated documents onto their casework website And some documents added to the developers website. Plus this objection stage has been precisely timed for the Easter break, when they know people will be taking breaks and busy. With no extension time?... They are certainly not a 'neutral party' in this process so far!
We now have 5 weeks to submit our objections to PEDW

Its worth trying to stick to these requirements as close as possible. Remember to add your full name and address as we don't want them to reject any objections because of lack of details. If your sending your objections by letters I recommend sending signed for or special delivery, so you have proof they arrive.
Remember:- you can request your name and address to be hidden from the PEDW public website if you wish, just add a note at the end of your objection !

Ideally we are looking for as many people to object as possible here. This development is key to the go ahead of other developments by sharing it's substaion and road Networks etc. Even if you know people that haven't signed this petition they can still send an objection.
This development is about making money not electric as the developers will get paid even when the turbines are not turning ( on no wind days ) through government guarantees ( curtailment money ) added to our bills. Despite the media hype, we are becoming more and more reliant on imported energy as the renewables are intermittent in their energy production.
