Stop KOSA (S.1748)

Stop KOSA (S.1748)
The Issue
Hello, I am starting this petition to bring awareness to the Senate that We, The People, do not support S.1748 Kids Online Safety Act, and wish for them to abandon it or to vote no if it comes to the floor.
S.1748 KOSA-
This bill claims to be aimed at protecting individuals under the age of 17 from "inappropriate content" on the internet. However we have seen how this works out based upon observation of a very similarly titled Online Safety Act recently enacted in the UK. That act has already been used to surveil and charge adults with "crimes" based solely upon speech. We do not want this to happen in America, the Senators are simply adding kids to the front of it as a shield in order to hopefully get this bill passed without much effort on their part.
They're intention is to use this as a stepping stone for the continued censoring of all forms of adult content (Pornography, Violence, etc.) including all currently legal content such as artwork done digitally in video games, drawing, etc. We have already found proof that this is the route they are intending to take from the current interim head of the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Board) Russ Vought (Link: Russ Vought Caught on Camera) They are starting by trying to force liability onto the site itself which scares the sites away from operating in a given location. Now they are going after a "Think of the children!" narrative on top and then they just step it up from there.
I believe we can nip all of this in the bud by contacting our Senators and Representatives in Congress and telling them "No" en masse. This petition will serve as evidence to that fact, by signing and reaching out to your Congressional personnel, we can keep speech free.
