Petition updateStop Killing Wolves To Appease Cattle Ranchers!

IMMEDIATE ACTION IS NEEDED TO SAVE WA WOLVES!

Apr 11, 2022

Today is the last day to submit your public comment to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife regarding the proposed rule that defines under what circumstances endangered wolves can be killed. The WDFW will vote on this proposal in May 2022. There are only an estimated 200 wolves in Washington. The population is still recovering, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is working on a proposed rule that would make killing wolves involved in livestock conflicts easier.

We need to voice our support for the use of non-lethal methods in dealing with depredation and human-wolf conflicts. Preventative measures need to take priority over killing.
