AT&T is proposing to raise the tower located at 3350 Sugarloaf Mountain Road in Loomis, CA to 70' and add 15 AT&T antennas and radios. They are also adding cabinets and other equipment in the fenced-in area.  The installation of the existing tower and equipment was fought and pushed through against the neighboring property owners wishes previously. Current adjacent and surrounding property owners are asking for the help of the community to fight the addition that is being proposed for the reasons described below:

1.     Property Values/Tower Aesthetics - this tower and equipment is inconsistent with the land use of the surrounding homes and community. The trees have been trimmed and cut around the tower and equipment and it is no longer camouflaged and is an extreme eyesore to the community.

2.     Noise and Air Quality from the Generator

3.     Impacts to water quality – the PCWA canal is within 200’ of the diesel generator

4.     Increased Fire Risks

5.     Issues with 24/7 access to the towers & equipment for maintenance

The signs posted at the site show that the Tower is not registered with the FCC and have warnings regarding the Radio Frequencies and Diesel Fuel. How is this allowed where we live? You can bet the CEO of AT&T doesn't have a tower in his backyard!
